If you are in the NYC area, head over to the Cake Shop tonight for a pretty sweet secret show featuring a performance by The Living Things. There will also be an art battle between a street artist team, which should be entertaining in itself. Picture Breakin’ 2 – Electric Boogaloo, but replace the breakdancing with painting. WORD! Put on by Jelly NYC, the festivities will kick off at midnight, with the rock & roll starting at 1am. DJs KariBomb and Melody Nelson will help you get your groove on until the wee hours of the morning, so take a disco nap after work and kick it at Cake Shop tonight. The Cake Shop is at 152 Ludlow, between Stanton and Rivington.
