Sasha & Digweed Bring Delta Heavy Tour To DVD

Dropping February 7, System Recordings will be releasing Sasha & John Digweed Present Delta Heavy, a DVD documentary of 2002’s groundbreaking Delta Heavy DJ tour. The first major DJ tour ever mounted in America, and spearheaded by über-famous DJ’s Sasha & John Digweed, the 31-date tour spanned the entire country being seen by over 85,000 people in just six weeks. Before this, no DJ tour of this magnitude had ever been attempted and it turned out to be a seminal event in the history of electronic music. Conceived by Sasha & Digweed’s protégé Jimmy Van M, the tour was produced by Warped Tour creator Kevin Lyman and included all the emblematic rock tour accessories such as touring sound, video production and laser lights. Produced and directed by Ben Turner, the DVD takes the viewer both onto the dance floor and behind the scenes of the tour featuring over an hour of exclusive live footage and interviews along with bonus interviews of Sasha, Digweed and Jimmy Van M. So if you went to the show, don’t remember it too well, or even just want to pretend that you went, be sure to check this DVD out.
