The Pogues Line Up Short US Tour Stint

Irish rock act of mythical proportions, The Pogues, have a very brief North American tour planned for mid March ‘06. Their first US trip in years, the nine-date tour will kick off with a two night stand in DC on March 9-10 and will also include stops in Atlantic City, Boston and New York city. The NYC stop will actually be a four-night stand at the Nokia Theater that will fall over St. Patrick’s Day (yikes!). Three of the four NYC shows, both DC shows, and one of the two Boston shows have already sold out.

In addition, The Pogues are planning to release a live CD/DVD to coincide with their tour in March. Details have yet to be revealed, but we’ll post them when we know the scoop.
