The creators of one of my favorite albums of 2005 (Several Arrows Later), Matt Pond PA, will embark on a headlining tour of North America on February 7 in New York City. After filling a support role last year for the likes of Liz Phair and Guster, Matt Pond PA will be bringing their lush, pop oriented indie rock to a slightly hipper crowd in ‘06 by teaming up with California psych pop outfit dios (malos) and Sydney, Australia buzz band Youth Group.
dios will be onboard from February 7 through 28, after which Youth Group will step in from March 1 through the tour’s end on March 21. Peep the details below y’all.
