Jeff Tweedy Signs On For Benefit Gig At Uber Small Club

Die hard Wilco fans rejoice! Do some cartwheels and summersaults and maybe even a round off into a no handed cartwheel into a back flip because Jeff Tweedy has signed on to play a solo show at VERY intimate Abbey Pub in Chicago on January 25. The gig comes as part of a series of benefit shows being held for Gary Schepers, who for the past 20 years has manned the soundboard at just about every Chicago venue, as well as doing sound for the likes of Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, and Eleventh Dream Day and performing with Devil In A Woodpile and Prohibition Orchestra.

Jay Farrar, Robbie Fulks, Califone and many other acts are all donating their time and energy to the cause. Click here for more info.

And good luck getting one of those Tweedy tickets!
