SXSW 2006 Begins To Take Shape

As we all get back to the grind after the holidays, our sights are set on the one week each year we take a break from our offices to enjoy seeing way too many bands, drinking way too much beer, eating way too much BBQ and thawing out from the winter chill. Yes, I am referring to the glory of the South By Southwest Music Festival! Yes, our yearly pilgrimage to Austin is just a few months away so let the countdown begin. Taking place from March 15-19, this marks the music festival’s twentieth anniversary. Is it too early to start polishing our big belt buckles and cowboy boots? The list of performers has started to take shape on the official SXSW website, with many more to be confirmed in the upcoming few weeks. With artists ranging from Arctic Monkeys and Editors to Echo & The Bunneymen and Belle & Sebastian, this looks to be a mighty good time in the making!
