Hopewell Prepares For Spring Tour, Posts Live MP3s

After releasing one of the most overlooked albums of last year, Hopewell & The Birds Of Appetite, Hopewell is already back in the saddle as they begin to write and record new material. The band recently contributed the unreleased song “Afterglow” to a podcast on KEXP, which you can check out by clicking here.

While the guys are currently plotting a spring tour, kicking off in Austin for SXSW and taking them up to northern US and Canada, their specific dates are still unconfirmed. Prior to their March madness, they have a show set in NYC at Pianos on Thursday, January 25 with the Lolita Bras.

As an extra treat, the band has posted a few live MP3s on their site. You can now download versions of “Are You Anywhere?”, “Trumpet For A Lung” and “Calcutta”, which were recorded at the Velvet Lounge in Washington, DC. Click here to visit their official website so you can add these live cuts to your MP3 player of choice.
