The Magic Numbers Reveal Mini-Album, Plan New LP

British rockers, The Magic Numbers, have shed light on a new mini-album. The release will feature acoustic songs that were originally recorded for their debut 2005 LP, The Magic Numbers, but were not used. This will most certainly tide us over until their second album comes out.

Speaking of their second album, the band has told NME that they have written most of their next record. According to the news, bassist Michele Stodart and drummer Angela Gannon will be singing more individual songs. In addition, Romeo Stodart told Channel 4’s Planet Sound, “I thought (the songs) might make the second album and now they’re kinda not fitting with what I’m writing next either. A mini-album might be the answer.”
