Saul Williams Unleashes New Book, Tours

Saul Williams has made a name for himself as being one of America’s bestselling contemporary poets. On February 1 his new book, The Dead Emcee Scrolls, will be available for all to experience via MTV Books. In this, his third work, Williams builds on the story about his discovery of an ancient scroll hidden underneath an abandoned and graffiti-plagued subway line. Throughout the book Williams provides commentary on the personal and cultural impact of rap. He also does so in his own signature style.

Fans of his work will be pleased to know that he will be going on a spoken word tour in support of his new book. Many of the spoken word dates will be at Universities, and there will be book signings at the bookstores listed below. If you have not witnessed Williams in person then you are missing out. Take note of a date near you and get ready for the lost teachings of hip-hop. For more on Saul Williams, click here.
