Gorillaz Make Live American Television Debut

As previously reported on The Tripwire, the 48th Annual Grammy Awards are taking place February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Now to keep the suspense rolling, (come on, you know you can’t wait to see who wins the Best Classical Crossover Album award) the opening performance has been announced. In an interesting move, Madonna will be paired up with our favorite virtual group, Gorillaz, for a once in a lifetime collaboration. Gorillaz will be present via 3D color animation, and the songs are still unknown. Here’s to hoping it is an ode to “Papazao”. For all of you lowly groupies, be sure and set your DVRs for the live broadcast on CBS, you won’t want to miss it!
