Former Catherine Wheel frontman Rob Dickinson has just announced another batch of tour dates, stretching from San Diego to New York City. He has kept his performances filled with a good balance of classic Wheel songs and material from his debut solo album Fresh Wine For The Horses. For die-hard fans, you should be pleased to know that the older tunes in his sets have included “Heal”, “Ma Solituda”, “Eat My Dust You Insensitive Fuck”, “Future Boy”, “Crank” and the always mind-blowing “Black Metallic”. Dickinson’s acoustic shows are absolutely brilliant, with the stripped-down versions of his music highlighting his lyrics and powerful melodies. You can bet your sweet ass that I’l be at his NYC show on March 1 at the Mercury Lounge.
