Actually, I think it’s just Office (no “the”), but regardless, I can’t stop listening to this band. They’re from Chicago and they’re unsigned (for now). There’s six members – Scott, Alissa, Erica, Tom, and Craig – and they write some of the catchiest indie pop tunes I’ve heard in a while. I don’t even have the album yet (it’s self-released). I’ve been waiting for the band to throw a copy in the mail for me before I posted anything about them, but alas, I just couldn’t wait any longer. I have to get it out there! They have a few tracks to stream on their website, so go check it out ASAP.
If you’re going to be in Austin for SXSW, the band will be playing the ASCAP showcase on Wednesday, March 15 at The Dirty Dog Bar. They go on at 10:45. They’re also playing Schubas’ annual day party on Thursday, March 16.
