Bloc Party was undoubtedly one of the major success stories of 2005. In one year’s time they went from just another UK buzz band to having NME’s #1 album of the year, a top 10 album of the year in Spin, and even graced the cover of The FADER and Urb. They began 2006 with a DVD release and will follow that up with a performance at this year’s Coachella. However, before taking to the stage for thousands, they will play a few warm up gigs as the band makes their way across the US. This very brief trek will include only three shows (not counting Coachella), with stops in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Tempe, AZ, and Las Vegas, the latter of which is with The Go! Team. Details below.
