Legendary group Massive Attack will be making their first US appearance in over eight years during this year’s Coachella Music Festival. They will be playing on Sunday, April 30. In addition Eagels Of Death Metal, Ted Leo / Pharmacists and Daft Punk will also be joining the lineup this year. This will marks Daft Punks’ first US date in about six years.
On playing the Festival, Massive Attack member Robert Del Naja stated on their website, “We are playing Coachella, dusk till dark, before Tool on the Sunday night. It’s going to be a blast.” He went on to comment about their plans for the summer. “The main bulk of the tour will be June-September in Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa and Japan with recording and mixing in-between.”
