Fat Possum Invite Fiery Furnaces Over For Tea

Chicago’s favorite bro-sis indie rockers, The Fiery Furnaces, have found a new home for the release of their latest masterpiece. Called Bitter Tea, the album will be released through Fat Possum Records at the end of April. It was recorded in Benton Harbour Michigan in 2005 at the same time as Rehearsing My Choir, the band’s most recent release (the one recorded with their grandma). While that album was a concept record that told the story of the grandma’s life through a series of vignettes, Bitter Tea is said to be the granddaughter record, described by the band as “sissy psychedelic satanism.” Sounds interesting…

We’ll let you know more as soon as we know more.
