Goldrush Returns To US

British rockers Goldrush released one of my favorite albums of last year, Ozona. Their detour in a tiny Texas city while en route to SXSW added a small dose of Americana to their sound, which resulted in a whiskey-soaked collection of pop gems. The band is back at work on a new album, recording in their home of Oxford, England. They will be previewing their new material in March during a handful of SXSW-related performances in Austin, as well as two NYC dates at Pianos. You can also hear an exclusive new track right now on their MySpace page.

03.12.06 – New York, NY (Pianos)
03.15.06 – Austin, TX (Blind Pig Pub)
03.17.06 – Austin, TX (Nuno’s – Better Looking Records Showcase)
03.18.06 – Austin, TX (The Tap Room – afternoon SXSW performance)
03.18.06 – Austin, TX (The Drink On 6th)
03.22.06 – New York, NY (Pianos)
