Quick Hits From Beck-Land

A few bits of news in Beck-land have recently surfaced which are worth making note of. First, Beck has announced that he will support Radiohead on a few upcoming live dates. This little nugget was revealed during the Grammys last month, according to Launch. Of course, exactly where and when these dates are going to be is still unknown, so we will have to keep our fingers crossed until more info surfaces.

The Beckster is also working on releasing a tenth anniversary edition of Odelay, which will hopefully include the original version of “Debra”. As if that wasn’t enough, he is also working on an album he began two years ago with uber-producer Nigel Godrich. This is rumored to be what was envisioned as the proper follow-up to the melancholy Sea Change, which would have made for a smoother transition into Guero.

Of course, all of this is hearsay, so take it all with a grain of salt. Hopefully more info isn’t too far away on those live dates. We will keep ya posted!
