Rhett Miller And The Believers Tour, Girls Swoon


Old 97’s frontman Rhett Miller has announced the details of a spring tour in support of his sophomore solo album, The Believer. With his band, The Believers, in tow, Rhett will appropriately kick things off down in Austin with two SXSW shows on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18. The trek will then stretch fully across the United States before wrapping up on April 22 in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Believer was released on February 28 through Verve Forecast. It was produced by George Drakoulias (Black Crowes, The Jayhawks, Tom Petty) and features a slew of well known musicians, including the beautiful and talented Rachael Yamagata, Lyle Workman (Sheryl Crow, Beck), Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Tori Amos, David Bowie), Jon Brion (Kanye West, Fiona Apple), Patrick Warren (Amiee Mann) and The JayhawksGary Louris.
