Dude, where’s my van? Apparently that is what the guys in Film School were saying yesterday when they woke up in Philadelphia. The Beggars Banquet band was on tour with Cloud Room. On March 7, Film School parked their new van in the parking lot of a Comfort Inn. Around 8am on March 8 someone broke into the fenced parking lot, got past the 24-hour attendant, sawed through the club on the steering wheel and broke into the van. If that wasn’t enough the culprit drove through the gated fence and stole everything in the van as well.
As a result the next few shows for the band are cancelled. Hopefully the band will get some replacement gear in time for SXSW.
