Regina Spektor Releases Album, Tours

Fresh off the heels of a successful UK and Ireland tour, Regina Spektor plans to release a brand new album entitled Begin To Hope on June 13 via Sire Records. She will also embark on a tour of North America in April, her first since last summer.

Spektor’s new album was recorded in her home city of New York, at New York Noise Studios with producer David Kahne. This time around Spektor finds herself taking her craft to new heights. She is experimenting with different instruments beyond her piano to include drum machines, electric guitar and voice effects. She claims that the songs were actually built around her voice alone. If this is true then it sounds like we are in for a treat! One way to tell is by checking out one of her shows listed below. Oh, and if you don’t see you city, more dates will be added soon.
