David Ford Releases Debut Album In US, Tours

UK-based soon-to-be-huge singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist David Ford will release his debut album, I Sincerely Apologize For All The Trouble I’ve Caused, on April 25 through Independiente/Columbia Records. The name David Ford has been floating around the A&R landscape for a while now, but it looks like Sony finally pulled the trigger and signed this guy. In case you’re cynical and you’re like, “who’s this David Ford guy? He probably sucks.” Check out the video for “State Of The Union.” Not only is the song powerful, passionate and thoughtful lyrically, but it proves that this guy is insanely talented musically (it was shot in one take).

Ford will be playing a series of US dates in late March/early April. He’ll kick things off with three nights in NYC from March 27-March 29, playing the first two nights with Gomez and the third with Richard Ashcroft.

He’ll then play two headlining shows in Boston (Great Scott) and NYC (The Living Room) before heading off on a proper club tour with fellow UK singer/songwriter KT Tunstall. Peep all the details below.
