The Concretes Are Saying Something New

Although it was still cold when I walked outside to get my burrito, according to my calendar, spring has officially sprung this week. With the warmer weather en route, ones thoughts tend to turn to rolling green pastures, iced tea with lemon, and happier music. I had my first iced tea of the season last night, and in the case of the music, I am talking about The Concretes.

Not only does the ninety-nine-member band have a new album on the way (In Colour, April 4 via Astralwerks), but they have a Stateside tour starting in May to boot! If you want to hear some of the new tunes, head on over to this interactive site that lets users preview tracks and check out the artwork. As you are strolling through the site make sure to take note that there is a very special surprise for the person who unlocks all the elements of the album art. Score!

Oh yeah, and be sure to check out their new video as well. Happy listening!
