The Raconteurs Are Coming! Part Deux

Methinks that the PR people behind The Raconteurs are in cahoots with the PR people from Franz Ferdinand. It seems like every day there is a little more light shed onto the super group project. From video information and a website re-launch to a release date and track listing, every few days there is something new worth talking about. Leave the audience wanting more…nice one brother!

We all knew it was only a matter of time until The Raconteurs announced a homeland date. Yeah, I too was feeling a little sad that the Brits were experiencing them live with no word on dates here. Now, on April 7, 2006, the boys will come to Irving Plaza and bless the East Coast with a performance. It should go without saying that they will feature songs from their upcoming album, Broken Boy Soldiers via V2/Third Man Records. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, March 30. I have a feeling they won’t last long.

As previously reported, you can watch the video for their single, “Steady, As She Goes”, by clicking here. You know you want to.
