One week from tonight marks the next meeting of the All England Club. If you live in the NYC-area and happen to be a fan of quality Britpop, then this monthly party is for you! The AEC meets the first Thursday of each month at Lolita Bar (Broome @ Allen), kicking off at 9pm sharp. Free Guinness & Harp flows from 9-10pm, so it is best to show up early. Treats from Ben Sherman will be given out as well.
Each month the TopSpin DJs select a new musical theme, which is “Mixed Doubles” for April. You will be treated to two tracks from each artist, with one track being a Britpop anthem followed by a great remix. The one rule that must always be followed is that all music played must be from the UK.
As the title suggests, suggested attire for All England Club events is tennis whites. All are welcome, but only those in appropriate apparel will be asked to become official members. Members will receive preferences and privileges. If you were given a patch last month, make sure to wear yours next week!
