Actually, I’m not a sex addict. I Am A Sex Addict is the title of a new indie film that hits theaters next month, and I mostly just wanted to get your attention. Now that I’ve got it, let me tell you about this movie. I Am A Sex Addict is a film by Caveh Zahedi, who’s been called “an icon of autobiographical underground cinema.” This film falls right into place then, as it tells the story of Caveh’s struggle with prostitution and his sex addiction – how it started, how it got out of hand and destroyed all of his romantic relationships and how he was eventually able to stop.
The film looks pretty damn funny in a weird, awkward, underground sort of way. Head here to watch a mini trailer, then here to see if/when the film will be screening in your neck of the woods.
