It is a beautiful day here in NYC. The sun is out, people can finally leave their jackets at home, birds are chirping and there is that smell of freshly baked new music in the air. Ah yes, as we thaw out from the winter chill, album releases begin to kick into high gear once again. One very notable album that will be in our hands in a little over one month comes from the Walkmen, giving us their latest offering, A Hundred Miles Off, on May 23rd. Being the kind gentlemen that they are, the band has offered up a sneak peek of the new track “Louisiana” on their MySpace page. Kicking off the support for their follow-up to Bows & Arrows, the Walkmen will be heading west to Indio, CA for Coachella. They will then begin an official tour next month, beginning on May 24th at NYC’s Webster Hall.
