There is something painfully charming about watching a rock star age. It reminds us of our own mortality and the inevitable. That frontman who once wore skinny pants and lived on a diet of nicotine and coffee (amongst a few other vices), now looks very similar to someone of my parent’s age if put in a lineup next to each other. What does this have to do with anything? Nothing really, but the Twilight Singers are going on tour.
Greg Dulli (former Afghan Whigs) and his merry band will be touring the States in conjunction with the release of their new album, Powder Burns. All of the dates will be with fellow label mates Jeff Klein and Afterhours. You really should see this band live; they were awesome at SXSW.
