Ex-Beta Band Singer Flips Out

Ex-Beta Band singer Steve Mason has finally had enough. In a truly random turn of events, he has canceled the forthcoming tour for his latest project, King Biscuit Time. According to NME, the group was scheduled to hit the road next month to support the release of their debut album, Black Gold, due out in stores in the UK on May 15.

So did he throw in the towel completely? Judging from his recent statements online, I’d say yes. A spokesperson for the band said: “Messages posted online by Steve Mason would appear to indicate he’s called a halt to his project King Biscuit Time. Mason posted the following message to his fans – ‘Peace to you all. I’m out of here. It’s been amazing but I’ve had enough. The mountain beat me and sadly you too. That don’t mean you should give up. It just wasn’t me. Over and out, Steve.’”

See ya Steve!
