Indie favorites, Oneida, are putting the final touches on their new LP titled Happy New Year. The album will be coming out July 11 via Jagjaguwar and creates a new chapter in their recording career. Sunset Grill, the group’s recording studio and rehearsal space, was torn down recently in order for a new housing development and shopping center. Nice one Brooklyn. As a result their new recording is titled appropriately, showing a new beginning with a new year. Oneida is playing the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s curated day of All Tomorrow’s Parties on May 13. Check them out there, they might debut some of the new material!
