Roll a fatty of your best stuff and book a flight to Boston ASAP, as long-haired Louisvillians My Morning Jacket have just announced two performances with the legendary Boston Pops Esplenade Orchestra on June 21 and 22 @ Symphony Hall. If you thought the lush orchestration and swirling rock goodness of MMJ was great before, then you KNOW that putting a world class orchestra behind Jim James and company will be nothing short of spectacular.
As previously reported, MMJ was hand picked by Pearl Jam to accompany them on a spring arena tour that begins on May 9 with two shows in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. You can get the full tour details here.
