The Air Guitar regional finals are sweeping the nation in the month of May and (early) June. Passionate music fans with (probably) no actual musical talent will be showing off their impressive air guitar skills across the land in regional competitions from coast to coast. Next on the docket is SF, LA and Boston. Tonight in San Francisco and Saturday in LA and Boston, simultaneously, crazies will take to the stage to rock your socks off and pretty much just have a good time with a group of like-minded, good-spirited rock & roll fans.
So come out and put all those years of air guitar jamming in your car, your room, or (gasp) live rock & roll shows, to good use. Or just come out and enjoy the drunken mayhem from the sidelines. Details for all remaining Air Guitar regional finals are below.
The National Finals will be held in NYC on Thursday, June 22 at the Bowery Ballroom. The World Championships, now in their 11th year, are held every August in Northern Finland. Go Team USA!
