679 Recordings Kick Off US Operation With Mystery Jets EP

UK-based 679 Recordings is home to Death From Above 1979, The Futureheads, The Streets, Secret Machines, and a slew of other fine acts in their native land. Having successfully navigated the UK landscape, the label is now setting their sights on the US by opening a base of operations stateside. Their first domestic release will be an EP from hotly tipped young UK indie band, the Mystery Jets. This US-only release, the Flotsam And Jestsam EP, hit stores yesterday and includes UK hit single “You Can’t Fool Me Dennis,” live staple “Zoo Time” and three other exclusive tracks.

The band will be releasing an LP later this year, but none of the EP tracks will be duplicated.
