It is no big secret that we are huge fans of the UK trio The Cribs. After watching their bloody performance during 2005’s South By Southwest, we have been keeping a close eye on this group of brothers. Their no bullshit sloppy rock & roll has just enough catchy pop to make their rough edges all the more endearing.
I got a chance to chat with these lads back in August of ‘05, talking about coming from the small town of Wakefiield, England, sibling rivalries, working with Edwyn Collins and the lack of originality in the current UK rock scene. If you missed the interview, click here to give it a quick read.
