Beck Completes Work On New Album, Releases Video Compilation

Rather than sitting on his ass for a few years, Beck has already completed work on the follow-up to his ‘05 release Guero. The good news is that he has brought Nigel Godrich on to produce the record, who helped create his brilliant ‘02 album Sea Change. This was announced on Beck’s official website, where a tentative (and very vague) release date of sometime this fall was also given. Unfortunately, no other information has been made available as of yet. With Godrich at the helm, this could be one mighty cool album!

In other Beck news, he has released a “video album,” comprised of nineteen videos as well as two live videos for “Guess I’m Doing Fine” and “The Golden Age.” This collection is available for purchase on iTunes. Take a trip down memory lane by watching some of his old-school videos, such as “Where It’s At” and “The New Pollution.”
