Good news for fans of the old-timey group Blanche. They have completed work on their forthcoming new album, although we won’t get to enjoy it until it finally hits stores on January 22. Many reasons have been given for the delay in its release, including the touring schedule of Little Jack Lawrence, who is out on the road with Raconteurs.
To tide us over until early ‘07, Blanche will release an EP with four or five songs as well as a video hopefully in October. Some limited touring in North America will be done in support of the EP, with many more dates next year. They do have a few dates this month, so check them out if you can:
