Mute North America’s latest signing, Forward, Russia!, will release their debut album, Give Me A Wall, in September. However, before all that goes down, the Leeds-based quartet has lined up three buzz gigs in key markets across the US beginning tomorrow in NYC with a show at Mercury Lounge. Then they’re hopping a flight cross-country to kick some Bay Area ass with a gig at Popscene the very next day. Finally, the band will wrap things up with a show at Truobadour in LA on Saturday.
If you’ve yet to hear this band, they’ve been getting some MAJOR love across the pond with high praise coming in from just about every major UK music mag. They’ve also scored two Top 40 singles in their native land already this year.
So be sure to keep them on your radar. They should be making some major noise later this year.
