This weekend Wassup Rockers will descend upon New York in a full out free block party. While the film hits theaters officially on June 23 in NYC and June 30 in LA, you can have a sneak peek at the goods this weekend.
On Saturday, June 17, the “Wassup Rockers Free-For-All Block Party” will take place at Office Opps, 57 Thames Street in Brooklyn. The screening of the film will take place here as well. Want to go? Pick up passes at American Apparel stores.
Here is a rundown of the scheduled events for the party:
4:00 PM:
- “Doors” open for games of skate. $500 cash prize plus $250 in product for the winner.
- Pro-Skaters Chad Muska & Danny Minnick In Person. Autograph signing.
- Giveaways from Boost Mobile, Baker, Etnies, The Blvd. and other vendors
- Food Vendors
- Vendor booths
- Other free stuff
5:30pm:
- Live Bands: Taylor Bow, The Films, Pissed Jeans & more
- DJ’s: Josh Madden, Patrick Lavin and more
8:30pm:
- Screening of Wassup Rockers on a giant 40-Foot outdoor screen
- Introduction by filmmaker Larry Clark (Bully, KIDS) and Francisco “Kico” Pedras, one of the leads in the film.
Wassup Rockers hits theaters nationwide in July.
