Shout Out Louds Return With EP

The Swedish indiepop group Shout Out Louds have been given the remix treatment on their new EP, Combines. This release is available now via digital retailers as well as in good old-fashioned indie retailers throughout the rest of this month. Out of the five tracks on the EP, four are remixes of tunes from their great ‘05 album How Howl Gaff Gaff, along with one brand new song titled “I Meant To Call.”

About the songs on the EP, singer Adam Olenius said: “Since this EP has nothing to do with our next album it’s almost like a side project for us. This past year we met many musicians who we wanted to collaborate with and it’s an honor to work with great bands like Architecture in Helsinki and Ratatat.”

“It was also very important for us to work with our friends from Stockholm – both Harlem and Konstruction and Subliminal Kid are making very beautiful and interesting music.”

Shout Out Louds are doing the summer European festival circuit right now, with plans to start work on their next album this fall. In October they will join producer Bjorn Yttling (The Concretes) in Stolkholm to record their proper follow-up to Howl Howl Gaff Gaff.
