Back in July of 2002, a little monthly gathering emerged from the Chicago underground called TheNewNew. This friendly party celebrated all things new in music, art and fashion and in it’s short run played host to Metric’s first Chicago appearance, offered up the ones and twos to StarTime International guru Isaac Green and basically was the best, low key, great time hangout in Chicago for the urban hipster, not to mention the city’s music industry types.
After a couple of years off, TheNewNew has returned to Chicago with a new venue (Hideout) and a whole new schedule lined up of the best new music from around the globe.
TheNewNew is proud to bring one of the most talked about new bands in America, Birdmonster, to Chicago this Sunday to celebrate the resurrection of their humbly excellent gathering. Here’s the details:
