New Portishead Is Closer, Download A Track For Free

Oh Portishead, won’t you hurry it up already? Rumors about their new album have been circulating since last year , but it actually looks like we might be a little bit closer to that date. In a message posted a few days ago on the band’s blog, they stated:

just been away for a week with my family.. so

we’ve had our meeting with the label it was really possitive….which makes the whole thing so much easier to deal with nice people…

the tracks are in a right mess but sounding like a album for the first time in years

their fukin a bit weird though………its great its nice to think us old gits have a few tunes in us without sounding like coffie table zero 7 – moby – chill out shit!!

also im trying to not let the world cup take my life away for 6 weeks….

anyways like i said

back to work
