Pete Doherty Publishes Diaries

I know, I know, I have been slacking on dishing the dirt on Mr. Pete Doherty. But really, how many times can you talk about this, this or this? Another arrest for drugs…boring!

What is news worthy for him however is that he has signed a publishing deal with Orion Publishing Group. No, it’s not going to be short stories for the kiddies. (Although I must admit that might be a more interesting read.) It will be for his diaries, and will hit shelves in March of next year. According to Drowned In Sound, “the hardback book – a compilation of 20-odd journals – will follow Doherty’s rise to fame, through The Libertines and that other band he’s allegedly in, Kate Moss and all that drug nonsense.”

Oh yeah, and in case anyone was wondering, according to the official death clock, Pete only has until Saturday, June 23, 2012 to entertain us in all of his shenanigans. Seems like a while to me considering his current path.
