The Church And Rob Dickinson Together This Summer

The prolific group The Church is embarking on a no-frills acoustic summer tour. No amps, no effects, just an unplugged set of new and older tunes. Steve Kilbey, Marty Wilson-Piper, Tim Powles and Peter Koppes will regularly swap instruments during the performances, giving their audiences a unique forum to experience songs such as their radio hit “Under The Milky Way.” This tour is to continue promoting their critically acclaimed new album, Uninvited Like The Clouds, which was released on Cooking Vinyl.

Joining them on the road will be Rob Dickinson of the Catherine Wheel. He is still supporting his magnificent solo debut, Fresh Wine For The Horses. I have made it pretty clear that his live shows are fantastic. If you somehow missed my slightly obsessive reviews, click here and here.
