Sufjan Stevens Tour Dates, Come And Get ‘Em

Indie rock hottie Sufjan Stevens has just announced a string of tour dates in September and October. Sufjan is bringing with him a string ensemble and a brass section for this trek in an effort to present familiar songs from Seven Swans, Michigan and Illinois in a new, symphonic context (that what it says in the press release at least). He’ll also be performing five or six new songs along the way.

Providing support for the entire tour will be My Brightest Diamond (a.k.a. singer/songwriter Shara Worden). MBD’s debut album, Bring Me The Workhourse, will be released on August 22 via Asthmatic Kitty.
