I’ve been seeing word about Sean Lennon’s album popping up on various places this week, including Stereogum and Tiny Mix Tapes. It seems that his proper follow-up to Into The Sun, or I guess to his Half Man, Half Horse EP if you want to be really picky about it, is finally coming out. The new record, Friendly Fire, will hit stores on September 26 via Capitol Records. The tunes were produced by Tom Biller, and will once again include guest appearances by Cibo Matto’s Yuka Honda.
The album will also include a companion film, directed by Michele Civetta. The film stars a bizarre cast of celebrities, such as Carrie Fisher, Bijou Phillips, Asia Argento and Lindsay Lohan. Lohan? Seriously?
