You just can’t go wrong with some damn good Texas music. Austin’s Okkervil River has made the drive up to the Big Apple for a free performance today at Castle Clinton in Battery Park. Tickets will be distributed at 5pm outside the castle on a first-come, first-served basis.
The band has also announced a few weeks of dates this fall, beginning in Little Rock on October 3 with Elvis Perkins. Peep the dates:
