The Cardigans Return With Mini US Tour

It is hard to believe that we were first introduced to the Cardigans well over ten years ago. My first time to hear the voice of Nina Persson was back in 1995 with the release of their album Life. The Swedish popsters took America by storm in 1996, back when it was nearly impossible to escape their insanely catchy hit single “Lovefool.” The album First Band On The Moon put them on the mainstream map, receiving tons of radio airplay and spins on MTV. Although the days of their world domination have come and gone, they are still at it making albums, such as their somewhat recently released Super Extra Gravity.

Brooklyn Vegan got the heads up that the Cardigans are once again returning to our shores for a brief North American tour in September. Here are the dates:

09.15.06 – Boston, MA (Paradise Rock Club)
09.16.06 – Philadelphia, PA (First Unitarian Church)
09.18.06 – New York, NY (Irving Plaza)
09.20.06 – Toronto, ON (The Opera House)
09.23.06 – Chicago, IL (Metro)
09.24.06 – Minneapolis, MN (Fine Line Music Cafe)
09.29.06 – Los Angeles, CA (Avalon)
09.30.06 – Solana Beach, CA (Belly Up Tavern)
