Ever find yourself sitting on the train, messing around with some shitty game on your phone… or maybe listening to some hot new club track on your iPod and wishing you had your turntables handy to spice it up a bit with some scratch-a-delic… uh, scratching? Well the LG just announced the release of a new phone for the UK market that comes equipped with a scratch wheel… yes, seriously.
Kids across the pond will be able to download their favorite tracks via a mobile music store, then scratch the hell out of them like Mixmaster Mike with the built in scratch wheel, THEN add 14 different percussion sounds using the phone’s keypad. The damn thing even has a 2 megapixel camera and streaming video capabilities. I can’t wait for some 18 year old musical genius to record an entire album using only this phone.
I’m sure it’s just a matter of time until this thing (LG U400) makes its way to the States, so keep an eye out. Thanks to DJ Reset for the heads up.
