DJ Shadow Announces North American Tour

With his new album currently scheduled to drop in September, DJ Shadow is officially back in action. The Outsider, his most experimental album to date, should hit stores on September 12 via Universal. With a new album also comes a North American tour, kicking off next month.

I was fortunate enough to see DJ Shadow perform at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas for his tour supporting The Private Press. Armed with turntables, samplers, laptops and a whole arsenal of other goodies, along with an amazing visual display projected behind him, it was an unforgettable performance. This being said, I am thrilled to see that he will be hitting the road once again. For those of you in the Berkeley, CA area, you are in for a huge treat. Shadow will be teaming up with Massive Attack on September 22 at the Greek Theatre. You have no idea how jealous I am of you right now.
