On October 3 the Chapel Hill quartet Cities will be releasing their remix EP, Variations, via Yep Roc. Featured remixers on the EP will include Ladytron, Daedelus, Free the Robots, CacheFlowe, Isan, Fog, Mild Davis plus Mike Westbrook from the NC based electro-rap duo, Kerbloki. Westbrook actually won his way on to the EP by entering a remix contest at Yep Roc’s official website.
Cities are also heading back out on the road for a month-long tour, beginning on September 20 at Wilmington, NC’s Soapbox Lounge. NYC fans will get to see them even sooner with a one-off date on Septemeber 2 at Cake Shop. Peep the dates below.
