The world is full of talented musicians just waiting to be heard. One of these artists is singer-songwriter Michael Disalvo III, who I was lucky enough to catch in early August. You can read my review of the show here. His country-flavored acoustic folk songs are the in the melancholic vein of Elliot Smith, Bright Eyes and Richard Buckner.
Michael is performing tonight at the Bowery Poetry Club in NYC, and I highly encourage those of you in the area to stop by and catch his set. He goes on at 7pm, so get your weekend started off by supporting this great up-and-coming artist.
